A medical syringe core mold is a special device that is used in the syringe manufacturing process. It consists of two halves that are joined together during the molding process.


Each half of the mold has contours and holes that match the shape and size of the syringe core. They precisely replicate the geometry and details of the core to ensure accurate and quality manufacturing.

The process of manufacturing a medical syringe core using a mold includes the following steps:

1. Material preparation: medical plastic, usually polypropylene, is prepared for molding. It can be in the form of pellets or plate.

2. Loading the material: pellets or plates of plastic are loaded into the mold. Each half of the mold has holes through which the material is fed.

3. Closing the mold: the two halves of the mold come together and close to form a cavity into which the plastic will be fed.

4. Molding: the plastic is fed into the mold cavity under pressure. It fills all the contours and holes of the mold, taking the shape of the syringe core.

5. Cooling: after molding, the plastic is left in the closed mold to cool and cure. This may take a few seconds or minutes, depending on the material and process.

6. Core extraction: after cooling, the mold is opened and the finished medical syringe core is extracted.

The medical syringe core mold is an important tool in syringe manufacturing. It ensures the accuracy and repeatability of the molding process, which is important for the quality and reliability of medical instruments.
