Aerospace CNC machining is the creation of parts used to assemble and maintain aircraft and space shuttles. Aircraft in the aerospace industry usually require CNC Machined Parts, kits and components. Whether it's hinges, bushings, manifolds, fixtures or other custom-manufactured parts, aerospace equipment and aircraft parts require the best components made of the highest quality metal to make them function properly. Titanium and Kovar are most commonly used in Aerospace Components, but others include stainless steel, Inconel, aluminum, brass, bronze, ceramics, copper, and certain other types of plastics.
Aerospace machining is different from the typical CNC machining process because it requires all metals to have incredibly tight tolerances without sacrificing their ability to withstand flight requirements. The materials used in aerospace projects must be lightweight, durable, and resistant to high temperatures.

Aluminum is a lightweight metal with excellent ductility during processing and excellent durability after processing. Due to its corrosion resistance and high electrical conductivity, it is very suitable for a variety of aerospace applications.
Stainless steel has corrosion resistance and can withstand strong impacts and normal wear and tear. It can also withstand scratches, extreme temperatures and low pressure.
