1. Commonly used processing tools and machines:

In actual manufacturing, several processing techniques are intertwined, which requires mold designers and mold masters to arrange all links. One step of the error will be negative! Rework often causes damage to the mold, and the resulting mold is not beautiful. If the remedy is good, it can only be changed. This will increase the time and cost, and in many cases time is important. The competition in the mold industry is fierce now, and the time customers give to the mold room is very urgent. If you cannot deliver the mold on time, you will eventually lose customers!

Function introduction of each processing machinery and equipment:

1. The gong bed is used for manual milling and cutting of relatively simple and regular workpieces, such as straight lines and oblique lines; it is commonly used to process workpieces with low precision, mold blanking, Mold Core, row cutting, etc.

2. Lathes are mainly used for processing round workpieces, such as nozzles, positioning rings, flanges, round molds (CORE), round copper bars, etc .; the precision can reach higher requirements.

3. Grinding machine, mainly used for steel flattening, grinding standard, etc., can meet most of the accuracy requirements.

4. Drilling machine, mainly used for drilling holes, tapping teeth, and transporting water holes.

5. CNC (computer gong) has become the iconic equipment of the modern mold industry, mainly used for CNC machining of complex and irregular curved surfaces. It is characterized by high precision, good reliability and high efficiency. Basically, any mold can not be processed without it. The processing of cavity, copper and other workpieces is completed by it; it can process almost any shape of workpiece.

The computer gong is controlled by a computer program. Therefore, in addition to being familiar with the computer gong processing control software, its operator, the CNC programmer, must also have an in-depth understanding of the mold structure and processing method. A programmer who only understands the processing software but not the mold structure and processing method can only talk on paper. In the past two years, UG has become more and more popular with mold manufacturers due to its convenient operation, good reliability, high efficiency, and good simulation performance, and its talents have become more sought-after.

6. Spark machine, used for electro-erosion of workpieces. Install the electrode (copper male) on the machine head, and use the internal circuit of the machine to control the current discharge to etch a cavity with the same shape as the electrode on the workpiece. Tooling term: EMD processing.

7. Wire cutting machine, used for cutting the shape of the workpiece. It passes a very fine molybdenum wire through the holes pre-punched in the workpiece, and controls the discharge and operation of the molybdenum wire according to the data in the computer, and cuts out the set shape on the workpiece. Generally, the diameter of molybdenum wire is 0.07 ~ 0.10mm, so its processing accuracy is also very high. Wire cutting is divided into fast wire walking and slow wire walking. The wire cutting machines in general mold houses are fast-moving wire,

As the name implies, the walking speed is very slow. It sacrifices speed for high precision. Basically, precision molds and some metal terminal molds must be processed with it. The unit price is 3 to 5 times that of brisk walking. There is one detail that needs to be mentioned, that the water used for walking is pure water. Of course, it is also numerically controlled and requires computer programs to be controlled.
